The MacMillan family, originally from Vancouver, Canada, has lived in Texas for 3 years, the last year and half in Southlake. Bruce, a chartered accountant, is the CEO of Meeting Professionals International, a global meeting and event company. Judy enjoyed a career in Teaching English as a Second Language in Canada. Now, she plays tennis several times a week with a great group of women, takes care of their two children Tayler (10) and Lauren (6), and their newest addition, Stella, a golden retriever who is one. Tayler enjoys playing tennis at Southlake Tennis Center and both girls swim at Emler's in Colleyville. Stella enjoys chewing and eating whatever she can find. The family enjoys exploring Texas and traveling abroad. They particularly enjoy dining out in Southlake and then enjoying an ice cream at Town Square.

The MacMillan’s will be at Town Square September 20, 2008 for the Walk for PKD! Their youngest daughter, Lauren was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease in 2006. It came as a shock as PKD is a genetic disease and no family member has it.
