The grand opening of the City of Southlak DPS Headquarters is scheduled to take place on Friday, January 8, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The opening follows nearly two years of construction.

The former 667 North Carroll building has been replaced with a state of the art building which will not only house DPS, Police and Fire Administration but the City's Municipal Court and Metroport Teen Court.
