Kristine Kahanek Visits Central Market for a Book Signing
Channel 11 meteorologist and author, Kristine Kahanek spent some time at Central Market in Southlake for a special storytelling with video on Sunday. She was there to promote her new book, Katie and the Magic Umbrella.
Kristine talked to the children about storms and how to not be frightened by them. Parents were listening so that they can help calm fears in their children, just as Spring storms are just around the corner. The main character in Katie and the Magic Umbrella, Katie, is inspired by her first daughter who watches over her family from heaven. She lives with her husband and their two children in Colleyville, Texas.
