City Receives AAA Rating from Standard and Poor's
The City of Southlake received a strong financial endorsement from Standard and Poor’s (S&P) Rating Service with an upgraded General Obligation (GO) rating from AA to AAA and an elevated Financial Management Assessment score of “strong.” The credit upgrade will keep the City’s cost of borrowing money down and advances Southlake to a select group of cities who have received AAA ratings.
Crud Cruiser Comes to Southlake!
The Southlake Department of Public Safety will host the Crud Cruiser and document shredder event May 9, 2009. Citizens may bring household waste materials and/or document for shredding to the same location for disposal. The Crud Cruiser will accept specific household waste materials for proper disposal, while the document shredder will accept personal documents for on-site shredding. Participants should bring a recent water bill or driver's license showing they are a Southlake resident.
When: Saturday May 9, 2009 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Crud Cruiser will be on site until 11:00 a.m. (or when filled to capacity). The Document shredder will be on site until 1:00 p.m. (or when filled to capacity).
