Come hear the real life story from a local Mom who's son is now in prison. Hear how he got involved with drugs and alcohol while in middle school. Included in the talk are warning signs to watch for, coping strategies, resources for help, and the success story of this student's rise out of drug addiction.

Southlake Goes Green For A Day
Southlake and area residents are invited to Get Your Green On! and participate in Southlake Green Day on Saturday, March 28, 9:00 am until 4:30 pm. Southlake Town Square’s Rustin Park will be transformed into an environmental showcase of demonstrations, exhibitors and products focusing on how residents can go the extra mile to be green. The event is free to the public.

City Candidate Coffee at Timarron
Timarron Owners Association is sponsoring a meet the candidate coffee for Timarron Homeowners with candidates for Southlake Mayor, Southlake City Council, GCISD positions, Carroll ISD positions and Colleyville City Council.
Each candidate will receive a personal invitation. This is different from city hosted events. Timarron received 100% candidate attendance at last year's event.
This is an opportunity for Timarron Homeowners to hold a one-on-one conversation with local candidates.
Tha candidate coffee is at the Bent Creek Clubhouse, 1240 Bent Creek Drive, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm on Monday, April 27, 2009.
