SPIN into Spring Garden Tour
The SPIN into Spring Garden Tour took place on Sunday, April 19, 2009 and the event was presented jointly by Keep Southlake Beautiful and SPIN.

SPIN into Spring chose six local homes homes that the gardens are maintained by the owners. Each home had a different style of creating and maintaining a backyard oasis.
Youth Fishing Day at Bicentennial Park
A crowd joined the City of Southlake and Texas Junior Anglers for an afternoon of fishing on April 19, 2009 at Bicentennial Park. The pond was stocked with adult sized channel catfish for an opportunity to catch the "BIG" one.
Kids were divided into age groups. All participants received a bag of goodies, trophies and prizes were given to the two largest fish in each age group.
