Central Market Hosting a Book Signing and Baby Shower Event - Sunday, May 3, 2009
Central Market Southlake is hosting Baby Shower this Sunday, May 3, 2009 – and it’s not your typical baby shower! The event benefits Mercy House, a local Southlake Charity that helps single pregnant women. New York Time’s bestselling Author (and Southlake Mom!), Ame Beanland will be there to sign copies of her new book, “Postcards from the Bump: A Chick’s Guide to Getting to Know the Baby in Your Belly”. Anyone who brings a baby gift to donate will be registered to win prizes from Central Market, Corinthian Wellness Spa, Swoozie’s, Jake’s Loft, G Diapers and much more!
Bob Jones Nature Center Offers Month of May Pre-School and Youth Classes
Check out the Young Explorer and Discovery classes in May at the Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve, 355 E. Bob Jones Road in Southlake. Through hands-on activities, science experiments, crafts, stories, songs, hikes, and nature lessons, children learn about nature and gain an appreciation and love for the natural world.
