Central Market-Southlake’s first-ever Summer Chalk Art Festival on June 6, 2009 benefiting Rocky Top Therapy Center of Keller, Texas. Chalk art dates back to the 16th Century where artists created works of art on the pavement of the piazza’s of Italy. This art form is continued today in local festivals across the country and around the world. Watch local artists spend the day turning pavement and gessobord into beautiful artwork at this free community event.
