Take some time to visit the Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve! The August heat can be bad in Texas, but walking under the trees of the Cross Timbers on the BJNCP Trails and the Walnut Grove National Recreational Trails can be a "cool" thing to do!
"Composting for Dummies or Let It Rot" - Bob Jones Nature Center
The Bob Jones Nature Center organization is sponsoring two composting workshops at the BJNCP Wednesday, September 2 and Saturday, September 26.
Both workshops will run from 9:00am to 11:00am. Charlie Shiner, a Master Composter and Master Gardener, will present "Composting for Dummies or Let It Rot." Charlie has presented composting classes in Arlington, Fort Worth, and the surrounding area for over five years.
There is no charge for the workshop; making a reservation is recommended.
