Following an extensive review of the proposed 2009-2010 school budget, Trustees voted unanimously to give a three percent actual pay increase to all Carroll employees. The decision was made Monday evening in an effort to recognize the hard work and dedication of the staff. A public hearing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 17 in the auditorium of Johnson Elementary School. School officials will present the 2009-2010 budget and accept public comments before Trustees vote on the budget. By law, Trustees have until the end of August to approve a budget. The 2009-2010 tax rate can be set later in September if Trustees so choose.
