Are you coming to the gala, have your bought your ticket yet? You can do that online with a credit card at the Grace Gala home page. OR, if you simply want to volunteer to help at the event, please let us know as well.

If you have purchased your tickets, you can now register yourself and all of your guests online from the Grace Gala Home Page. Everyone is encouraged to do this as soon as possible so that you are entered into the system for the fastest registration possible. It's so easy! All you have to do is click on "Submit Guest List" on the home page, fill in your guest information and you're done.

And the Auction Preview is now online! Many of the items have begun appearing online and new items are being added daily.

In addition, it pays to attend!!! Under Event Details on the website, there is a new feature called "It Pays to attend the GRACE Gala". In this menu you will see several local merchants who are offering discounts to gala guests. Raffle tickets for the Camaro or the Silverado can be purchased online as well!

Make plans now to attend the 9th Annual Oktoberfest in Southlake Town Square. From food & beverages to arts & crafts booths to fabulous entertainment, there is something for everyone at Southlake's Oktoberfest!

Attendance is completely free -- there are no admission nor parking fees. There will, however, be a wide range of food, beverages, and booth items available for sale!

Play It Forward Organization Kicks Off at Dragon Stadium - October 1, 2010

The concept that a youngster will not be able to compete in the sport he or she loves because they can’t afford to buy the necessary equipment is difficult for some children to imagine. Yet that is the reality for some local children whose families are struggling just to keep a roof over their heads. A group of sophomore athletes at CHS are determined to help them participate in the sport of their dreams.

North Texas Walk for PKD - Fun in the Rain

Despite the rainy Saturday morning, hundreds gathered at Southlake Town Square to show their support for Polycystic Kidney Disease. Carolyn Morris and Judy MacMillan, event chairs for the 2010 North Texas Walk did an incredible job planning the Children's Walk, Adult Walk and the many activities that were enjoyed in the rain this year! The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Carroll ISD, GCISD & Keller ISD

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is an upcoming public forum at which Carroll, Grapevine-Colleyville, and Keller ISDs will present a unified message to the community regarding the funding of public education.

Taxpayers, lawmakers, district employees, community and business members are invited to participate in the forum.

7:00 - 7:45 p.m.

On stage presentation from district Superintendents, CFOs, and Board Presidents highlighting "The Good" (student achievements, successes, and efficiencies), "The Bad" (the impact of HB1 and HB3646 on school budgets), and "The Ugly" (the financial picture if nothing changes, including cuts that may affect quality of education).

7:45-8:15 p.m.

Small group meetings broken up by school district that will give each ISD an opportunity to address specific information and issues.

Carroll Education Foundation - 14th Annual Culinary Celebration

Carroll Education Foundation of Southlake invites you to their annual Culinary Celebration at The Hyatt Regency DFW on Sunday, October 3 from 6-10 p.m. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The Southlake CEF Culinary Celebration aims high to raise money for students and teachers of Carroll Independent School District. The 14th annual event will feature more than 30 Metroplex chefs, specialty wines and cocktails, live and silent auctions, a big board and much more. The live auction will feature exciting items including a unique item from Park Place Lexus, an original artwork from one of our own CISD students, and other fun surprises.
