Art off the Vine returns to Art in the Square for its third year. Once again the public will enjoy the best of the wine industry as presenters explore new, favorite and revisit forgotten wines harvested from all over the world.

On April 24 Central Market, El Wine Chateau, Fairpointe Cellar and La Buena Vida share their expertise on the art of making and tasting unique wines. Sessions are scheduled at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm. Tickets are $20 per person. Order tickets early - limited seating available!

2010 Art off the Vine Presenters’ Schedule

1:00pm-2:00pm - La Buena Vida Vineyards "The Art of Blind Wine Tasting" A gentle introduction to the art/skill/lottery that is blind tasting. Join La Buena Vida Vineyards for a casual and fun afternoon of swirling, smelling, sipping, and guessing as we unlock the mysteries behind the art of blind tasting wine. In addition, a gift card, compliments of La Buena Vida, will be awarded to the first individual to correctly identify all wines!

3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Central Market- Southlake “Wines: The Road Less Traveled”. Will explore varietals/discoveries that aren’t as well known and popular yet!

5:00pm - 6:00pm Fairpointe Cellar “Wines of Italy” Italy produces more wine than any country in the world, as much as France and twice as much as the U.S.! The happy citizens of Italy also consume 5 times more wine per person than Americans.

7:00 pm -8:00 pm El Wine Chateau in Keller-" THE OTHER SPANISH WINES" Discover other wines regions in Spain besides RIOJA. Fantastic wines being produced in Priorat, Bierzo, Toro, Penedes, Rias Baixas will test your palates to want more.

Looking for a place to chill? Sunday, April 25 from 1:30pm-4:00pm the Art off the Vine Cabaret is the place for you. Sit and enjoy a glass or two of one of the palate pleasing wines and specialty beers sold by the glass. Sample Cabot cheeses and enjoy the soothing background music provided by Debbie Rosenberg.

Cabot Cheese of Vermont is providing an assortment of cheeses that compliment the favors of wine and beer.
