Carroll Night at the Ballpark

Carroll Night At the Ballpark was held June 11 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Students and employees watched as the Texas Rangers took on the Toronto Blue Jays. CISD staff, students, family members and friends attended the event, which also served as a district fundraiser. The district received $2 back for every advanced ticket purchased by phone, mail or fax.

Secondary District Teacher of the Year Keeley Lowery threw out the ceremonial first pitch of the game on June 11th.

The Texas Rangers donated one complimentary game ticket to each staff member in appreciation of their services and commitment to education, while Carroll students with perfect attendance through May 1st received one complimentary ticket to the game. The night included on-field recognition for the 2008-2009 Campus Teachers of the Year and a ceremonial first pitch by Secondary District Teacher of the Year Keeley Lowery. The National Anthem was performed by Carroll Senior High School's varsity choir under the direction of Chris Hutchison.
