Our Great City

The Abram family is native Texan. Alicia grew up in Colleyville while her husband, Gordon, grew up in Henderson, Texas. Gordon & Alicia met while working for Fidelity Investments in Irving, Texas. After getting married in 1999, the Abrams lived in several suburbs in the area before settling down in Southlake with their children; Samuel (7 years old), Jack (5 years old) and Olivia (3 years old). They have been Southlake residents for over 4 years.

Gordon, a retired Naval officer, graduated from the University of N. Texas. He is the Chief Operating Officer for Rennhack Marketing located in Grapevine, Texas. Alicia, a UNT college graduate, is an active stay-at-home mother. The Abram boys, Samuel & Jack, are active in the Southlake Carroll Dragon football league while Olivia dances at Dana’s School of Dance in Southlake. When Alicia is not spending her time with the children’s extracurricular activities, she volunteers her time to Durham Elementary School. This will be the school Samuel & Jack will be attending this fall. Alicia will be teaching Preschool to Olivia at home. One of the children’s favorite outings is to go to the Southlake Towne Center to have ice cream and play around the fountain. Of course, Gordon’s favorite activity is golf. He is a frequent golfer at the Sky Creek Ranch Golf Course in Keller.

The Abrams, who are members of First Baptist Church of Keller, enjoy serving in the Children’s Ministry and spending time with their Sunday School group. The children are actively involved in Sunday School, Choir, and Missions. The Abram family feels very blessed to be a part of a truly loving church family.
