Monart School of Art, located in Keller Town Center, is the premier art school to teach the Monart Drawing Method in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Open since March 2008, Monart provides the highest standards of educational excellence and is designed to give everyone the skills to draw confidently!

Students, from ages 3 ½ to adults, are taught that “Anyone can learn to draw!” and that there is no right or wrong way to draw, and therefore, there are no mistakes. Each student receives a well-designed art lesson and individualized attention from art instructors certified and trained in the Monart Method by Mona Brooks, author of the best-selling books “Drawing with Children” and “Drawing for Older Children and Teens.”

Just as we are taught how to combine basic phonetic rules to read, or musical notes to play an instrument, the Monart Method teaches an individual to draw using the five elements of shape. Studies have shown that increased focus, problem solving and self-confidence are just a few of the benefits to learning the Monart Method, a process that has been endorsed by many in the education field including professionals at Harvard University and The National Montessori Schools.

Monart School of Art – Keller offers 12-week semesters throughout the year with weekly classes for all ages, everything from drawing and watercolor to computer classes such as Photoshop and Flash. Classes are pro-rated so students can join at any time. Also open to students and guests are mini art sessions during summer break and holidays, morning and afternoon day camps that are the perfect opportunity to expose current and potential students to the Monart Method in a fun, creative and educational environment.
