Our Great City

Our Motivation
In 2007, Vernon and Charlene Wells partnered with Michael Young and Taunee Taylor of the Texas Rangers baseball club, and Stephanie Gillespie, an Arlington Police Officer and Mission Arlington volunteer, in a charitable endeavor that forever changed our purpose in life. We took a group of underprivileged children shopping for basic necessities.

These children are among the homeless population in Arlington, living in motels with their parents who are unable to provide regular meals and proper hygiene. We kept these children close to our hearts as we prayerfully initiated a plan to make a difference in their lives. Eight months later, we successfully developed the Vernon Wells Perfect 10 Foundation which supports and protects children in need.


Our Goal
The ultimate goal of the Vernon Wells Perfect 10 Foundation is to open a general residential operation for children. The facility will also offer short term shelter for children displaced by Child Protective Services.

The Vernon Wells Perfect 10 Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization established to support and protect children in need. The foundation will provide assistance to other non-profit organizations that provide general welfare for children.
