Hannah Jo Gould - Featured Artist for Carroll Education Foundation Culinary Celebration
Hannah Jo Gould, a junior at Carroll Senior High, will be the featured artist at this year’s Carroll Education Foundation (CEF) Culinary Celebration. Each year, CEF selects a work of art to be the featured theme of the Culinary Celebration. This year CEF selected Hannah’s painting, "Appetizers Anyone?" In gratitude to Hannah for her donation to CEF, she will receive a $1,000 scholarship the year that she graduates. Hannah’s artwork will be placed on the Live Auction and all of the proceeds from this sale will go back to the art department at CISD. Last year, the art department received $1,500 from the sale of the artwork on the live auction.
Hannah’s enjoys painting, practicing photography, cooking, scrapbooking and journaling. She hopes to attend The Oklahoma University, once she graduates, and major in Visual Communications with a minor in English or French. Her future goals are to work for a magazine or advertising company designing layouts and artwork for marketing.
Hannah’s accomplishments include being nominated and performing as a Carroll Green Jacket Student Ambassador, serving more than 200 hours of community service and being inducted into the National Honor Society for two consecutive years.
