 Southlake has gone to the dogs…literally not figuratively. Three Dog Bakery is opening their first Texas store in Southlake Texas . The Kansas City based company has in been in business for over 20 years and looks to bring it’s world known brands of all natural baked treats and food to the Metroplex. Three Dog Bakery doesn’t stop there, offering all of the other things to keep our four legged friends happy. From spa products and designer leashes and collars to outdoor rough wear, eco friendly beds and gourmet rawhides. Of course it’s not all just about man’s best friend. Three Dog Bakery does offer their “We Pitty the Kitty” line of all natural cat treats as well.

Come on over and celebrate our Grand Opening July 25, 2008. Three Dog Bakery will be donating food for dogs to the Tarrant County Food Bank! All food purchased by the customers will also be dontated to the food bank!

New in Southlake - The Wine Loft

The The Wine Loft is scheduled to open on Thursday, May 22, 2008. Owners, Rickey Dudley and Michael Peck, are pleased to launch the first of their new upscale wine bars in Southlake. Nestled in the new Southlake Town Center, The Wine Loft raises the bar for new places to relax with friends, family and associates by offering 70 different wines by the glass and 250 wines by the bottle. The Wine Loft’s chef, Joanne Irizarry, has studied at the Texas Culinary Academy and received the “Le Cordon Bleu” certification in Culinary Arts. Some examples of the Chef-inspired libations for the opening menu include:

• Escargot Vol au Vent

• Charcuterie Board

• Japanese Pumpkin Ravioli

• Duck Confit Tacos

• Filet Pistolettes

The Wine Loft began in New Orleans but was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Since then, The Wine Loft has planted roots in Baton Rouge where they are now headquartered. There are currently six locations open, three in Louisiana and three in Alabama. This location in Southlake will be the first in Texas.
