The seventh annual GRACE Gala “Angels Among Us” is going to best the best one yet! Come and enjoy the gala that has been called “The Premier Event in Northeast Tarrant County”. This year’s event is being held in a custom built Marquise Tent and Grand Ballroom on the grounds of the Gaylord Texan Resort in a spectacular setting of ambiance and romance!

The planning of this event began as the last year’s gala ended. Darren Moll, owner of Ashton Catering + Events and Susan Larrabee, Realtor for Prudential Properties are the co-chairs and creators of this year’s event, bringing the GRACE Gala tradition to new heights! Locally, Darren and his team at Ashton Catering + Events are known to make an event the talk of the town. Whether it is simple elegance or an attention-grabbing flight of fantasy, he and his team create the "Wow Factor" in everything they do. Susan, a long time GRACE supporter has donated countless hours serving on the Board of Directors, various committees for GRACE Gala, Feed the Kids program. Darren and Susan have worked daily bringing this vision to fruition and have spent countless hours planning every detail – plan on having the “Wow Factor” from the moment you arrive to the event this year!

This is the first year that the GRACE Gala is offering a “Winner’s Choice” option for the Raffle. Purchase a raffle tickets and choose either a 2010 Chevy Camaro or a 2010 Chevy Silverado. The GRACE Gala was conceptualized in 2004 as a way to generate funds to serve a growing population in need. The GRACE Board of Directors put together a dynamic GRACE Gala Advisory Board made up of prominent community members from Grapevine, Southlake and Colleyville. That Board, under the direction of the GRACE Board and Staff, put together a blow out first-year event that was sold out 6 months before the Gala. The private and corporate community met the challenge head-on; they sponsored tables, donated items and showed up to realize that raising money for a great cause had turned into one of the most fun events of the year. This year’s event is being produced by Ashton Catering + Events, Alford Media, The Expo Group, Dallas Party Tent and Events, Macaux Flowers and the Gaylord Texan Resort. The Title Sponsor is Ken Thompson of Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine and Walker Engineering is this year's Valet Sponsor. There are multiple levels of Sponsorship still available beginning with a Patron Level at $1,000 and going up to $15,000 for 4 unique Platinum Level Sponsorships.

With each year that passes, the GRACE Gala funds allow us to provide much needed services to over 19,000 individuals in the Northeast Tarrant County community. Just this year, GRACE saw a 40% increase in requests for service this past year, the GRACE Clinic helped over 837 patients; Transitional Housing gave home to 25 adults and 21 children and provided $122,475 worth of financial assistance including rent.
