Our Great City

The Southlake Lions Club invites you to a very elegant Saturday night gala dinner/dance on April 3, 2010, from 6:30-11:30 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel in Southlake, Texas. This is a black-tie event, so come dressed in glamour and jewels!

Primarily, it is to have fun and to get to know each other better. No auctions will be held. The evening will include free valet parking, a six course dinner with martinis, wine, and champagne, a seventeen piece band (the famous Les Elgart Orchestra lead by Russ Dorsey), Gene Willman - Professional Dance Instructor and D J, and from 6:30-7:00 p.m. a free dance lesson.

Secondarily, this event “Shall We Dance” is a fundraiser for the Southlake Lions Charitable Foundation, Inc. The funds are raised through our generous sponsors and underwriters.

The charities that benefit are:

• Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, Texas for Special Needs Children
• The North Texas Shield Foundation, Inc. for families of fallen police officers and firefighters
• Other beneficiaries are:   Eyeglasses for needy school children, Medical care for the needy and Lions International for disaster relief
