The Carroll Education Foundation's 2008 Culinary Celebration offers exciting new changes...starting with the Jeweler's Pull.  This year's Jewelry Pull will feature a new theme "Grayson Allen's Dinner and Diamonds."  Guests will be able to preview five different beautiful pieces donated by Grayson Allen.  Tickets can be purchased for $25 each or 5 tickets for $20.  Guests can then put their tickets with one of the five items - or they can place all their tickets with different items.  The raffle participants will have a much better chance of receiving an item this year and what beautiful items they are!

Chef Darren McGrady will be at the CEF Culinary Celebration signing his books as well as participating in the Live Auction.  Chef McGrady has donated his services for a dinner for 8 - which will be auctioned off live in combination with the Fort Worth Magazine Dream Home (that's the venue for the dinner).  He was also generous enough to donate his signed cookbook and CD for the silent auction.

A little about Chef Darren McGrady:

After 15 years of royal service to Queen Elizabeth II of England and Diana, Princess of Wales Darren is now employed as a private chef in Dallas, Texas. He has appeared as a guest on CNN’s Larry King Live, cooked on the CBS Early Show IN New York, CNN covering the Royal Wedding, Good Morning Texas, CBS 11 and WFAA news and the BBC and SKY television and radio in England and across Europe. Darren was born in Nottinghamshire, England and after graduating college with the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts he went on to train at the prestigious Savoy Hotel in London.
